Testimony 8

During the Liturgy of the Word, before the Gospel Acclamation, the priest would raise the bible. In my vision I would always see a magnified bible with a brilliant illuminated halo, doves flapping their wings would emerge and fly off. It resembled a large shield that would cover the priest. There are many verses about shields in the bible. I would choose, “The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults and with my song I shall thank Him.” (Psalm 28:7) Although I am not musically inclined, I believe the holy spirit would stir the dormant talent in me and songs of thanksgiving would erupt. I still remembered attending last Christmas mass, there was no choir. The atmosphere was so dissimilar and unfamiliar without a choir in a Christmas mass and I realised the relevance of music in worshipping God.
