Testimony 12

It was common for people to get slain in the Spirit during the pray over, but this lady rested in the Spirit for an extended duration. Basically, the power of the Holy Spirit overwhelmed her during the pray over, and as a result she fell. Did it hurt? Helpers would be stationed behind to catch the falling person. So it might or might not hurt if no one cushioned the fall. The slain person would lie and rest for a period. How long? Usually within thirty minutes, the person would open his eyes and wake up from the rest.

So this lady continued to rest after about two hours. We were gathered in a hall and everybody began to leave after the prayer session. The husband panicked, and he broke down. The situation seemed like a mishap had struck her, but in fact something positive was happening to her; an intimacy of union with the Holy Spirit. Indeed, it was kind of phenomenal to rest for such a long time, it was my first moment witnessing that. I would be like the husband if my loved one was resting there. I wouldn’t have the mind to analyse the circumstances, I just knew she wouldn’t wake up. Time passed by and nothing had changed; she still looked peaceful. I wanted to console the husband, but I was unfamiliar with the circumstance.

Those who stayed behind prayed for her and I joined in. The instant I prayed, I saw a shimmering white light that had the size of a ping-pong ball. It was floating in a dark background and it started to drift in one direction. As I adjusted myself to the darkness, I could see the place seem like a maze in a dungeon and the lost light wandering around to find a way out. But after reflecting on what I saw, I thought she would be fine, and I left. According to my friend, she woke up after some time. She was rested in the Spirit for a few hours and I didn’t keep track of the length of her rest.
